Discover Life Again After Loss
7-Week Online Wellness Class
Starts on October 4, 2022
Discover Life Again After Loss is an intimate small group experience for widows. While it is not a grief
support group or grief counseling, it is a place for discovering TOOLS to navigate your new journey. It is a professionally facilitated health and wellness education class taught by Marni Henderson B.S., credentialed
Health Educator, Wellness Coach, and HeartMath Practitioner who walks with others on the shared journey of
love, loss, life, and death (widowed in 2013). You will attend to your grief, love, and memories while bringing
them forward into your life AND discovering new ways of living. You will discover and practice TOOLS to
navigate this chapter in life and beyond. By tending to overall health and well-being, you can begin to integrate new life while also honoring deep grief and loss. It is a small group community filled with witnessing each
other's pain, excitement, courage, vulnerabilities, and strengths. In addition to stress management practices designed to calm, heal, and restore our nervous system, you will learn how to discover your unique pathway
for creating well-being in mind, body, and spirit through tools to support your next steps. You will learn to
take the next step towards healing, nurturing, and replenishing your whole self.
The class starts this Tuesday, Tuesday, October 4th, 2022:
- 7-week live 75″ webinar delivered in the ZOOM format within a private online community

Art Your Grief Classes with Emily Dilbeck: June 2022
Art Your Grief classes are for grievers. Grief comes in many different forms - this class is for anyone experiencing grief - it might be a diagnosis, a death, a relationship, job loss, a dream, a home, etc. All grievers are welcome.
No art experience is needed to take an Art Your Grief class. All you need is to bring yourself and be willing to
show up and try painting, drawing and collage to process your grief. Explore and express your grief using art
on Zoom in a safe space with other grievers. Emily will be walking you through different prompts with basic
art supplies (watercolor, colored pencils, collage - nothing fancy) to help you connect with your grief while
creating. The goal is not to create beautiful art (although sometimes this happens), the focus is on your grief
and having a designated safe space to connect and express your grief using color, texture, and movement.
Art is a powerful tool to express and explore grief. There is something beautiful that happens when we sit
with it all - even if it’s extremely difficult to do.

Loss & Living: Drum Your Grief with Vivianne LaRivière Online Class
July 25, 2020 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM (EST)
Drumming is music for the soul, and is also a practice that may help us process our grief. Learning how to acknowledge, recognize—and even embrace—our grief allows us to start rebuilding our lives around our loss,”
says Judy Coffin, program coordinator of ORA Lose & Living Program.
Drumming is one approach that gathers us in, without the need to talk, or
find words that are at times, so difficult to express. We can simply ‘be’ with the drum.
Facilitator, Dr. Vivianne LaRivière, considers the drum an instrument of peace, and drumming
as a spiritual and sacred practice. Drumming frees the minds, moves the body, is used at times
in prayer and/or meditation and is symbolic of the universal heartbeat! She believes the
energy of the drum can help us connect with our healing power, as it helps us get in touch
with our emotions at a very deep level. Drumming our grief is a way of processing our
grief by ourselves, and with others.
