You do not have to live in Phoenix to join this virtual support group. This group focuses on the challenge of integrating your loss to define a new version of yourself, find meaning and purpose, and receive and give support to others. It is open to men who have lost a child, spouse, sibling, parent, or close friend. Members will empower one another to find the courage to face the most broken and lost places within themselves, and strive to discover acceptance. EricsHouse Men’s Groups create a safe space where you can risk sharing your loss and pain in the presence of other men who have their own deep personal experiences of loss – who will not judge you, presume to ‘fix’ you, invade you, or abandon you. “Finding Our Way” Group Structure: - 9 week closed group limited to 12 members. - Co-facilitated by Greg Eckerman and Ken Slesarik. - Meetings will be virtual (on-line) - They follow "The Wilderness of Grief – Finding Your Way," by Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D. They welcome new and previous Men’s Group members. If you have suffered a tragic loss and are struggling to figure out how to survive, please contact Greg (greg@ericshouse.org or 480-734-3423) to learn whether this group might be right for you.
