Mother's Day for Motherless Daughters Call
May 13, 2023
Mother's Day weekend can bring up all kinds of feelings for a woman whose mother has died: sadness, longing, anger, loneliness, confusion, hopelessness, and more. We make room for all of them each year on their annual Mother's Day for Motherless Daughters call. Please join Hope Edelman and Claire Bidwell Smith on Saturday,
May 13 at 1 PT/4 ET for a FREE, virtual Mother's Day weekend event for motherless daughters. Women worldwide will come together in sisterhood and solidarity for 60 minutes of discussion and Q&A, a toast to all your moms, and their signature Circle of Remembrance. This year's topic is "Connecting with the Mother Energy Inside You." Hope and Claire will share ideas for self-nurturing and hear from members of the larger community. Stay for an additional 30 minutes of open conversation at the end to connect with women of all ages and backgrounds who share this profound life experience! Last year's event brought nearly 500 women from dozens of countries onto the screen together. You'll be welcomed as part of a sisterhood no one wanted to join, yet one that can offer you comfort and support this holiday weekend. This event is free and open to women who lost a mother to death at
any age. If you can't make it, be sure to register anyway, as they will send out the replay within 24 hours of
the event. Register, and you'll receive information by email about how to join the event on May 13.

Mother's Day 2022
Mother's Day reminds some people of losses they don't often speak of, like death, separation, divorce,
infertility, illness, unfulfilled longing, disability, estrangement, neglect, rejection, abuse, and abandonment.
If this day is difficult for you, for any reason, be extra kind and soft with yourself. Sending lots of love
and wishes for a gentler Mother's Day than expected to all feeling tender from loss.
Worldwide Celebration of Remembrance To Honor Mothers Who Are No Longer Living
May 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM PST / 5:00 PM EST
If you are missing your mother or mother figure, you are invited to join "Motherless Daughter's" author
and coach, Hope Edelman, for the Worldwide Celebration of Remembrance To Honor Mothers Who Are No Longer Living event. Hope will share her annual Mother's Day letter to Motherless Daughters, and there
will be special guest speakers, a chance to win free giveaways, toast to all our mothers, and the
2nd International Circle of Remembrance. Join Hope Edelman, Claire Bidwell Smith, Kelly McDaniel,
and other guest speakers for this free event to explore:
How can we still honor our moms on this weekend?
How can we, if we have children, allow Mother’s Day to be about ourselves and her at the same time?
How can we find others who understand what this day represents for us?
Join in on May 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM PST / 5:00 PM EST.
The call is one hour, with a 30-minute Open Discussion period afterward for sharing stories about our moms.

Motherless Moms Thriving Virtual Retreat
The FREE Motherless Moms Thriving 3-Day Virtual Retreat runs November 10-12, 2020.
This will be a time to nurture self-compassion, honor our mothers and our lineage, while finding ways to
grow and learn so we can thrive in life! The intention of this retreat is to help (re)define grief, normalize
grief, bring the conversation into the open, provide hope and tools so that everyone who participates
may feel their spirits lifted and the isolation minimized.
Mothering motherless is not something we have to do alone. This event is for mothers who feel alone
and/or who no longer have that woman in her life providing words of encouragement and validating the
great job she's doing as a parent. This retreat is a reminder that you are not alone.
Join this amazing community of women who know what it's like to be a motherless mom.
