Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM MST True North Yoga - 1512 N. 10th Street, Boise, Idaho You are invited to join Good Grief Boise for a workshop Exploring Spirituality in Grief FREE community event on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM, at True North Yoga, near Hyde Park. Learn how to connect deeper to the spiritual realm and give yourself permission to lean into your own intuition, and explore various healing modalities that can be helpful following the loss of someone you love. These modalities will include a group reiki meditation session, tarot & oracle cards, intuitive impressions, and a discussion on how to utilize these techniques in your daily life. Good Grief group facilitators Amanda and Angelina have created this special community offering from their own life experiences in grief and loss after losing a dear friend. They both are certified Psychic & Mediumship Development practitioners and Holy Fire Reiki Masters certified. Amanda and Angelina are heart centered teachers who hope to offer a space for those experiencing grief of any kind an oasis of hope and healing. Tuesday, October 11th through Thursday, October 13th, 2022 Ashland Hills Hotel Conference Center in Ashland, Oregon Lines for Life, Oregon Health Authority, and other dedicated community partners invite you to join us at the Oregon Suicide Prevention Conference (OSPC). Attendees will encounter plentiful opportunities to learn, connect, and heal and will leave with relevant networks, skills, and training, along with to-do lists for improving suicide prevention and mental health promotion efforts in their communities. OSPC 2022 – Reconnecting to Hope: Growing Responsive Communities – focuses on rebuilding and growing connections between individuals, providers, local and state resources, advocates, and prevention leaders. These connections strengthen community support networks and create systems that can respond with compassion and care to address individuals' unique needs, lifting Oregonians to reconnect to hope when they are struggling. OSPC 2022 will be held Tuesday, October 11th through Thursday, October 13th, 2022, at Ashland Hills Hotel Conference Center in Ashland, Oregon. Pre-conference trainings will be on Monday, October 10th. Come participate in the 3rd Annual Strength 2 Thrive Suicide Prevention Walkathon & Community Event on September 11, 2021, at Columbia High School in Nampa, Idaho. The community will gather to raise awareness about suicide prevention and postvention, and we will support those who are suffering from suicidal thoughts and/or attempts, mental health issues, and grief from the loss of a loved one to suicide. Pull together your friends, family, co-worker to join you, as we all walk throughout the night in support and solidarity with those who need us. Teams are challenged to raise $5,000 in donations for the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline. Individuals are welcome to participate as well. All the funds raised will be put to good use and will help save lives. There will be live local music, speakers, a garden of remembrance & food trucks.
