National Grief Awareness Day 2020
Today, August 30th, is National Grief Awareness Day, which is a great opportunity and reminder to talk about and normalize the grief experience. Maybe take a moment to reach out to someone you know who is grieving a loss and let them know you care and they are not alone, offer support, and just listen. If you are grieving, I encourage you to take some time today to acknowledge your own grief and all that you have lost. You might also evaluate any gains from your grief process as well, if that feels helpful. If you feel up to it, consider sharing some of your grief story with someone who may benefit from your wisdom, experience, strength and hope. Don't forget to offer yourself some extra compassion and grace for what you are going though. It's hard. Grieving is not easy, but it is easier when we are not alone. If you are feeling alone, please reach out for support in anyway you can. If you need some great ideas for how to find support in your local area as well as online, please watch the IG live that Rachel, from the Good Days, Bad Days Show, and I did today. You can watch it here: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CEhraGxHRmR/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link We hope you get some tips that will help you find support. Feel free to reach out to either of us if you need direction with finding resources. Faith & Grief Online Support Gatherings For September 2020
