Sunrise Retreats is hosting a new 8-week small-group class this April for widowed women who are navigating life after the death of a partner and looking for compassionate, research-informed guidance for what comes next. Discover Life Again™ is not a grief support group or counseling session. It is a whole-health education experience designed to help women better understand how grief affects the body, brain, identity, and daily life—and to begin taking steady steps toward rebuilding wellbeing while continuing to honor love and loss. Grounded in research and shaped by lived experience, this class offers practical tools for working with overwhelm, emotional loops, identity shifts, and stress while reconnecting with meaning, strength, and possibility.

Participants will learn how to: ✨ understand how grief impacts mind, body, and overall health
✨ work with rumination and emotional overwhelm ✨ reconnect with identity, values, and purpose
✨ support physical and emotional wellbeing ✨ take small, doable steps toward life after loss

This class is especially supportive for widowed women who feel stuck, exhausted, or ready for tools beyond talk therapy—and it can complement counseling, coaching, or medical care. Facilitated by Marni Henderson, Community Health Educator, Wellness Practitioner, and widow, who brings more than 30 years of experience supporting women through whole-person healing after loss.
