GROWTH MINDSETS FOR GRIEVERS WEBINAR REPLAYS
Project Grief: Growth Mindsets for Grievers - Free Webinar - Part 1
Project Grief: Growth Mindsets for Grievers - Free Webinar - Part 2

Have you ever thought "I should be done feeling like 'this' by now"?
This kind of "fixed mindset" actually stifles grief and keeps you from ever "feeling better"!

We can't change our loss or the circumstances around us, but we do have the power over our mindset.
"Growth mindset" is a way of thinking that opens up new possibilities and paves the way for change and growth.
In these 2 FREE webinar replays, hosted by Danica Thurber from Project Grief, you'll learn some new powerful changes in mindset, as well as a few practical tips and tricks as to how you can put them into practice in your life.

I highly recommend Project Grief and have taken the mini-course, master course & Holidays After Loss Course myself with great results. If you’re interested in learning more about Project Grief resources or purchasing a course,

What COVID-19 Grief Can Look Like infographic from Dr. Therese at @exploring.therapy

All this COVID-19 stuff may be impacting how your grief feels and looks. Are you finding it harder to concentrate, feeling more physical symptoms, feeling anxious or extra stressed, feeling hopeless, depressed, angry or shocked?

These are all totally normal responses in grief and in reaction to a global health crisis like we are experiencing.
I encourage you to really take it easy on yourself and allow all the feelings to arise, sit with them, breathe
and let them flow through you without judgement.

You can do this. You are doing this. We can do this together. We will get to the other side.

This great graphic about What COVID-19 Grief Can Look Like is from Dr. Theresa at www.exploringtherapy.com

IRISH PRAYER FOR THE DEPARTED

Read Now

Picture
Irish Prayer For The DepartedDeath is nothing at all
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, That, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes, we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.
All is well.

Carved In Stone: Cemetery History & Symbolism
(20S-HIS-003) - $25 Registration Fee
Tuesday, April 28, 2020 from 5:30 - 8:30 pm
Cloverdale Funeral Home - Event Center
Cloverdale Funeral
Home, Cemetery and Creation
1200 North Cloverdale Road, Boise, Idaho 83713

Spend the evening with Cemetery Historian David Habben. Using hundreds of photos of grave stones taken by the instructor, you will learn the secret language of tomb stones. Learn how to interpret the cryptic emblems, signs & symbols found on grave stones. Many of our ancestors were illiterate. Signs and symbols are the universal language of grave stones. They tell us if the deceased was male or female; religious; belonged to a fraternal organization; was well loved; or even if he or she had a sense of humor, all without knowing how to read. We'll even discuss the history of cemeteries, burial customs, symbolism and even a little humor!

Who Lies Beneath - Famous People Buried in the Treasure Valley
(20S-HIS-004) - $20 Registration Fee
Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Cloverdale Funeral Home - Event Center
Cloverdale Funeral Home, Cemetery and Creation
1200 North Cloverdale Road, Boise, Idaho 83713.

The cemeteries of the Treasure Valley have thousands of residents. Each has their own story. Some famous, infamous, and some just plain interesting. The class is a virtual walking tour, with historian David Habben, of the cemeteries of Boise, the Treasure Valley, and even beyond in Idaho. But we don't have to worry about the weather or walking for miles! Some examples of the people discussed: a former governor of Idaho and the man who blew him up; the last professional lady bronc rider; the last man legally hanged in Idaho; the man who had the first house in the country heated with geothermal hot steam; the first Jewish governor in the U.S.;
Idaho's James Bond; and Idaho's "Wyatt Earp."
