Hope Through Connection Giveaway for Treasure Valley Families
The journey through child loss can be incredibly isolating, and while nothing can take away the pain
of losing a child, moments of connection, support, and togetherness can make a meaningful difference
along the way. The Titus Scott Foundation is now accepting nominations for its Hope Through Connection Giveaway, a special opportunity created to support bereaved families in Idaho's Treasure Valley who
have experienced the loss of a child. This thoughtful giveaway provides a family with a collection of local experiences and activities designed to encourage connection, create meaningful memories, and offer a few
moments of light during an unimaginably difficult chapter. Experiences may include family passes and
tickets to local attractions, dining experiences, recreational activities, art opportunities, and more—all
generously provided through community support and donations. Families may be nominated by friends,
family members, loved ones, community members, or they may nominate themselves. All nominations
are reviewed privately, confidentially, and with great compassion. This initiative is not about moving
past grief or "fixing" loss. It is about reminding grieving families that they are seen, remembered, and
supported by their community. It is about making space for both heartbreak and hope to coexist.

Important Details:
• Families must reside in Idaho's Treasure Valley
• The giveaway is intended for families who have experienced the loss of a child
• Nominations are open now
• A family will be selected and contacted on July 3, 2026
• Experiences and gifts may vary based on donated resources and availability

There is a large free parking lot in front of the building.

Meet in the giant Legacy Gazebo to your left upon entering the site off Hill Road.
Dress for the weather and feel free to bring your own water bottle or something to drink.
Come early if you'd like to shop or buy plants beforehand because they close to the public at 6:00 PM.

Facilitators will guide the process. Come join the conversation and please bring your curiosity, your interest,

The Death Café provides an opportunity for an open conversation about death. Facilitators will guide the

All are welcome to join the Treasure Valley Idaho community for the 7th Annual Run in Her Shoes
Memorial In-Person & Virtual 5K & 10K Walk/Run, honoring women and families affected by infertility,
pregnancy loss, and infant loss. This meaningful event begins May 3rd (International Bereaved
Mother’s Day) with an in-person gathering in Boise, Idaho, and continues through May 15th with
flexible virtual participation options. Whether attending locally or walking from anywhere, participants
help raise awareness and support for families whose experiences of Mother’s Day may look different.

Proceeds from registration and donations will support three important organizations providing bereavement
care, mental health support, and training: SHARE for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Postpartum
Support International, & The TEARS Foundation. Over the past six years, this event has raised more than $7,500
to support families navigating loss—including funding a special remembrance camera for the Boise SHARE chapter.

Participants can walk or run loops around Esther Simplot Pond (1 mile each). Strollers and wagons are welcome. Friendship Island serves as a symbolic reminder that no one walks this path alone.

It is a whole-health education experience designed to help women better understand how grief affects the body, brain, identity, and daily life—and to begin taking steady steps toward rebuilding wellbeing while continuing to honor love and loss. in research and shaped by lived experience, this class offers practical tools for working with overwhelm,
emotional loops, identity shifts, and stress while reconnecting with meaning, strength, and possibility.

Because Kids Grieve invites families to a no-cost Kids2Kids grief support evening in January, offering a compassionate space where children and caregivers can learn they are not alone. This month’s theme,
Surprise, Shock, Denial, will be explored through age-appropriate activities and guided conversation designed to support children and teens in their grief. The January meeting will take place on January 16, 2026, from
6:30–8:30 PM at the BKG Grief Center in Twin Falls, ID, with registration check-in beginning at 6:15 PM.
The evening includes dinner, children and teen breakout groups for ages 5–17, and a separate
guardian/parent breakout group, all centered on connection, education, and support.

Registration is officially open for the BRAVEher 2026: Story in Bloom - 7th Annual Bereaved Mothers Conference, hosted by Bereaved Together. Taking place May 2–3, 2026, this sacred weekend was created for bereaved
mothers walking the tender path of love and loss. The conference will be held on May 2nd at Fox River
Christian Church North in Waukesha, WI, and on May 3rd at Terrace 167 in Richfield, WI, offering space
across two days for comfort, connection, remembrance, and gentle healing in community. For the mom
finding her footing again. For the mom whose grief is still raw. For the mom who simply needs space
to breathe, rest, and be held in community. Story in Bloom invites mothers to honor the pages of
their lives — written in love, loss, and BRAVE becoming.
