As the founders beautifully say: “We don’t dance to forget. We dance to remember, to honor, and to reconnect—with ourselves, with joy, and with each other.” Since its launch in October 2024, Grief Disco has reached many through its uplifting gatherings, gaining recognition on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 2, ITV, and BBC News for its unique and transformative approach to grief support. Grief Disco is a beautiful, embodied form of connection and healing—one that
honors grief while affirming life’s capacity for movement, laughter, and community.
