2026 Annual Symposium on Children’s Grief
June 15–17, 2026. San Antonio, Texas The National Alliance for Children’s Grief is hosting its 2026 Annual Symposium on Children’s Grief, June 15–17, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. This meaningful event brings together grief support professionals, clinicians, educators, and advocates from across the country to learn, collaborate, and strengthen support for children and teens navigating loss. Participants will explore current research, practical tools, and compassionate approaches to care through workshops, discussions, and networking opportunities. This month’s theme, Surprise, Shock, Denial, will be explored through age-appropriate activities and guided conversation designed to support children and teens in their grief. The January meeting will take place on January 16, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 PM at the BKG Grief Center in Twin Falls, ID, with registration check-in beginning at 6:15 PM. The evening includes dinner, children and teen breakout groups for ages 5–17, and a separate guardian/parent breakout group, all centered on connection, education, and support.
