Destination Wellness Health Fair 2020
My Grief Connection will have a booth at Nampa Public Library's Destination Wellness 2020 Health Fair. it is a FREE community event on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the library. Come take advantage of FREE vital signs health screenings, dental screening and fluoride treatments, STI screenings, hearing checks and more. There will be fun, interactive demonstrations on multiple topics, including healthy cooking, yoga, core strength and stabilization, ACT muscle testing and Fit & Fall Proof senior exercise classes. There will be exciting activities for all ages including: a bean bag toss, spin art table, "smoothi-cycle," doctor dress-up area, and coloring sheets as well as ongoing health and wellness activities for kids in the Tween Zone from 10-2 pm and a Let's Move Together Storytime at 12:00 pm for ages 3-6 in the Storytime Area. Long-Term Survivors of Suicide Loss Summit
July 30 - August 2, 2020 Hilton Downtown Cleveland - Cleveland, OH This summer, join fellow long-term survivors of suicide loss for a weekend of connection, learning and empowerment. This is the only conference of its kind, focusing solely on the needs of those whose loss took place long enough ago that they feel ready to gain new perspective on their grief journey. Discover Life Again: Creating New Life After Loss
January 21st-February 25th, 2020 on Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm If you are processing a loss of any kind, please join Coalesce Discovery for their upcoming Discover Life Again: Creating New Life After Loss class. After experiencing loss and change, we are overwhelmed, exhausted and confused to say the least. All of the change and stress has taken a toll on our health and well-being. Discover Life Again, is filled with tools and experiences to embrace our wholeness, create personal wellness and discover hope filled futures. All forms of loss are welcome and honored in the Discover Life Again: Creating New Life After Loss class, including the loss of a loved one, physical health and/or relationships. This is a 6 week class that meets on Tuesdays 6-7:30 pm, from January 21st - February 25th, 2020, in Boise, Idaho. The cost is $149. *This is not a grief support group.
